De paso

was made over the course of a night in Oaxaca, Mexico, in 2026. I moved through the city and captured images as a calenda unfolded alongside other street scenes and chance encounters. I wasn’t trying to document Oaxaca so much as experience the night’s rhythm.

The title, meaning “passing through” or “in passing,” speaks to my place as a visitor, the movement of the camera, and the fleeting nature of perception itself.
